Real Techniques Core Collection Review (by Samantha Chapman)

For a week I've been going to boots and just staring at real techniques brushes asking myself 'shall I buy it?' and then I would just walk off. However, on friday I went to town and brought myself the core collection as I really wanted it. I use no7 foundation brush which I saw Lisa Eldridge talking about it on one of her videos. Before that I used bodyshops foundation brush and blusher brush, which I would not recommend. Every time I saw bloggers and youtubers talking about brusher in general, I though its just a brush I don't understand why people have to own that many brusher and pay that much till now.  After buying this brush set I've came home and wiped my face make-up off and re applied it with these brush and oh my god.
The only reason I brought this brush set was only for the buffing brush. From left to right, Brush 1. Contour Brush. 2. Pointed Foundation Brush. 3. Detail Brush and 4. Buffing Brush.  I have used the buffing brush to apply my foundation, my face was looked amazing foundation was smoothed out so evenly to be honest it looked like I have no foundation but great skin. I also used the detail brush for conceal my blemishes which is great for it.  I mainly use cream blusher as I believe it looks more  natural but I can seem to use anything to apply it with my fingers usually don't do a great job and other brushers didn't work that well, so I have used the contour brush to apply my bobbi brown pot rouge and oh my god it looked fantastic like it was my own cheek colour blended in so well. I don't contour, I know most women do I just don't see the point to be honest.

my favourite
These 3 are  my favourite, I've been using it for 3 days and my make-up looks so defined without looking like make-up. I never knew what brushes could do to your make-up and I don't think I'll ever be using my no7 foundation brush nor bodyshop brushers. My least favourite brush that I probably wont be using a lot is the pointed foundation brush, its to small for using it all over the face and who is really going to bother to use it just on their nose or small areas? However I think it could be used under eye concealer brush or even highlighter brush on top of cheek? any more suggestions?

NOUVEAU LASHES Noir Mascara review

I've received this Mascara inside Glossybox which I have only signed for 2 months and deleted my account.  The price for this mascara is £14.99, do I think its worth it ? Not really. Im not sure how everyone else likes their mascara but I like mine to add volume (1st priority) and 2nd length and 3rd not to crispy or wet on lashes.
Here's the results 1st picture no mascara, 2nd one coat and 3rd picture (bottom)second coat. I usually wear one or two coats of mascara no more than that, I find  applying 3 coats of mascara is time consuming. I have quite long eye lashes but not to thick. This mascara stays wet when you touch is feels sticky but whilst  few seconds of applying feels very crispy and when you apply the second coat it hurts your lashes the applicator and looks clumpy without looking thick or long. I don't think its a good mascara for natural or extreme looks

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum 53 Light Beige Clair

I have decided to buy this foundation as everyone on the net and blogs are talking about it. I am NC25, so I though this colour would be perfect for me but its slightly dark/orange when I've tried it at home. However,  it smells divine, looks very natural and easy to apply. I would recommend people who are NC25 and lighter to go for 52 not 53.

Perfect for those who don't enjoy heavy and chemical scented foundations.

Pro's: smells nice, light and easy to apply/ Cok guzzle kokuyor/ hafif ve kolay

cons: It wont cover any acne/blemish scars/ eggier yuzunuzde civilise vela herhangi iz varsa kapatmiyor

Smell, Attraction and Memories

I had a very interesting lesson today about smells and attraction, being a psychology student sometimes I get to hear very interesting theories and facts and some boring ones. But today I have had an interesting one. Let me start did you know that Men/Women find the opposite sex more attractive when they are wearing perfume. A study gone by Roberts (2009) suggest that women and men rated the opposite sex high those had perfume/scent on compare to those who didn't.

Well ladies, what are you waiting for.... few more psychological tips. Scents/smells bring memories, imagine you walking pass a guy wearing your favourite perfume (not over powering that will put him off or her) and catch his/her eye... next time you pass him/her you don't even have to remember them because your smell will leave a memory behind.

Also here's my favourite perfumes 1. Chloe: smells amazing and everyone asks me what perfume  I'm  wearing( including guys). 2. Stella limited edition: omg what can I say it reminds me of my childhood, turkey, turkish delights, just brings back amazing memories. 3.Lastly Dior: I'm not going to lie this is my least favourite out of the three but still its a nice fragrance. En sevdigim perfumer, herkesin denemesini tavsiye ederim

Buyapowa.com

A website that lets you buy things down to half price... Its bit like Ebay but better as everything is new and you can request any make make-up brand or anything you like. Try it :) I have started using this website and I absolutely love it. Brought Bobbi brown paint ponts and Chanel nail polish for 1/3 off price.
