For a week I've been going to boots and just staring at real techniques brushes asking myself 'shall I buy it?' and then I would just walk off. However, on friday I went to town and brought myself the core collection as I really wanted it. I use no7 foundation brush which I saw Lisa Eldridge talking about it on one of her videos. Before that I used bodyshops foundation brush and blusher brush, which I would not recommend. Every time I saw bloggers and youtubers talking about brusher in general, I though its just a brush I don't understand why people have to own that many brusher and pay that much till now. After buying this brush set I've came home and wiped my face make-up off and re applied it with these brush and oh my god.
The only reason I brought this brush set was only for the buffing brush. From left to right, Brush 1. Contour Brush. 2. Pointed Foundation Brush. 3. Detail Brush and 4. Buffing Brush. I have used the buffing brush to apply my foundation, my face was looked amazing foundation was smoothed out so evenly to be honest it looked like I have no foundation but great skin. I also used the detail brush for conceal my blemishes which is great for it. I mainly use cream blusher as I believe it looks more natural but I can seem to use anything to apply it with my fingers usually don't do a great job and other brushers didn't work that well, so I have used the contour brush to apply my bobbi brown pot rouge and oh my god it looked fantastic like it was my own cheek colour blended in so well. I don't contour, I know most women do I just don't see the point to be honest.
